ThermFelt HT650H High Temperature Hydrophobic Aerogel Insulation Blanket(≤650℃) is a super insulation material composed of nanoporous silica(SiO2) aerogel as the core material and some other inorganic fibers. Its thermal conductivity is extremely low and can withstand high temperatures up to 650℃. What’s more, unlike normal aerogel insulation blankets, it maintains excellent hydrophobic performance even when working at temperatures above 200℃. Its hydrophobic rate was tested as above 99% as per ASTM C1728-17 standards at 316℃.
Product Applications
ThermFelt HT650H is mainly used for the heat insulation of medium and high temperature pipelines and equipment, especially where there are special needs of strong hydrophobic rating requirements under temperatures above 200℃.
It is widely applied in:
It can not only reduce the energy loss of medium and high temperature pipelines and equipment, bring direct economic benefits to customers, but also improve the high temperature working environment and protect workers from scalds.

Looking to procure aerogel materials? Don’t fall into the common traps that could cost you time, money, and quality. Here are some pitfalls to avoid:
Aerogel materials are advanced high-tech materials, and finding a professional and reliable supplier can be challenging. Lack of supplier information can lead to the procurement of substandard, low-quality, or even fake aerogel materials, which may not meet the required specifications. You may ask your potential aerogel material suppliers: Are you able to provide a turnkey solution to my project? What are the production and inspection standards of your aerogel products? Do you provide full certificates?
When you compare the specs and costs of aerogel materials with others, especially with traditional insulation materials, do take into full consideration the practical working condition like temperature, humidity, and material lifespan, etc., and compare fully the costs of your project in the long run, like total energy costs in the long run, installation and maintenance costs, environmental protection costs, used insulation material recycling costs, etc.
Aerogel materials are specialized products that require careful production, handling, and technical support. Choosing the cheapest supplier may result in false pricing, low quality, toxic material with volatile harmful substances, inconsistent supply, and poor customer service.
Aerogel has many potential applications, but not all aerogel is created equal. Make sure your supplier provides certification and testing data to ensure the aerogel meets your specific needs.
Aerogel materials come in different forms, each with its unique properties and intended applications, so it’s important to communicate your specific needs to your supplier. Failing to do so could result in delays, miscommunication, and the wrong aerogel material for your needs.
Each aerogel material has its unique application and installation requirements. Ensure you select the correct aerogel material that can be installed well and work stably under the practical environment of your project, like temperature and humidity, space for installation, VOCs requirement, etc.
Avoid these pitfalls and ensure a successful procurement process by partnering with a reputable supplier who understands the intricacies of aerogel material. Contact us today to learn more about our high-quality aerogel and customer service.
Please note that the final cost depends on the quantity, customized service required, specifications of the raw materials used, the distance and the way of freight transportation, the relevant national laws, etc.
The unit metrics of this product is as mentioned in the Product Info section above. And this price level is based on MOQ 50units of our standard packing. If you ask for custom value-added services from us, like customized packing, new product R&D, etc., extra costs may occur.
The freight transportation cost depends on which trade terms you prefer and which way of transportation you choose. For bulk goods, we recommend FOB China or C&F destination port shipping by vessel.
The tariff rate and tax rate vary in different countries and areas. You can check with your local governmental organizations about the rates.
While maintenance and recycling of conventional insulation materials like aluminum silicate cost much money and time, aerogel insulation materials are environmentally friendly. They require very little maintenance during their whole lifespan and cost very little to deal with after their service lifespan ends. Considering their lifespan as long as 25 years, the maintenance and recycling cost of aerogel insulation materials can be negligible.
